I guess enough time has passed again for yet another biblical reference aimed at the various leaders of the Democratic Party. It did not take too much longer than 100 days of his His presidency for the One to be promoted from Jesus to God, but now Chris Matthews thinks that he has found the prophet… Obama’s John the Baptist:

From the Newest Testament of Hope and Change, Gibbs 1:29-31:

²⁹ The next day Howard saw the One coming toward him and said, “Look, the Lamb of Change, who takes away the sin of America! ³⁰ This is the one I meant when I screamed, ‘AAAARRRRRRGGGGHHH…’ and, ‘A man who comes after me has surpassed me because he was before me.’” ‘What?’ said many in the confused crowd. ³¹ “I myself did not know him, like most who voted for him, but the reason I came baptizing with my early endorsement was that he might be revealed to Democrats.”

As it is written in Axlerod 3:21:

For it is he whom baptized the One in the River Washington. Said Howard the Baptist to the One “I am not worthy to read the words of his teleprompter.”
