Like Allahpundit, I am not sure what to make of this guy, but I do know that I like what he says. We could use more men and women like him running for office on the GOP ticket, as opposed to the RINOs, populists, and turncoats we have been electing.

Let’s face it, the GOP’s current crop of potentials (with the exception of one) seem to be less than Presidential – either missing the charisma, or a little squishy on policy. One thing our Modern Day Paine has is charisma, and the ability to speak. Let’s take a look:

Common sense indeed. Although I am sure that he was speaking from a script, he does it well… and without all that distracting head turning that President Obama does with his TOTUS (although we see what happens when Obama goes off script).

So there you have it… at least 1/3 of this blog is ready to endorse Thomas Paine for Continental Congress!
