Helen Thomas proves once again that she has nothing useful to ask. This was posted yesterday on Hot Air, but worth seeing if you missed it:

For those on the Left, you may have applauded Thomas with ignorance and glee as she asked pointless questions of Ari Ari Fleischer, Tony Snow, and Dana Perino, but even you (yes you) have to acknowledge that her seat in the briefing room’s front row needs to be reassigned. I find her stupid questions not only tedious and frustrating for guys on my side of the political aisle, but for Robert Gibbs as well.

Allahpundit ended his post with this point:

Exit question: Seriously, isn’t Greg Hengler right about her keeping her seat at these pressers not because she’s asking anything worthwhile but out of simple respect for her longevity? That’s one less question per day that might advance a story that Gibbs is being asked.

Gibbs should just not call on her anymore, and maybe she might just get the hint.
