Howard Dean: “We’ve had quite enough capitalism …”

And there you have it. If you were ever unsure of the argument that Obama’s ‘Change‘ for America was socialism, Howard Dean has made it all too clear for you.

Dean was appearing with radio talk show host Jason Lewis on a back-and-forth argument segment on CNBC . Lewis is a conservative and right-thinking personality who generally calls a spade a spade. He currently has a show on KTALK in Minneapolis, but before this, he was in the evening drive time slot at WBT here in Charlotte . I listened to him whenever I had the chance and thoroughly enjoyed his well thought out opinions. He also is a guest host for Rush Limbaugh on occasion.

In the segment, Lewis schools Dean on the issue of Obama’s ‘joke’ spending cuts. Dean then calls them a good start and pontificates that the Porkulus, Obama’s presidency and his budget are making people confident in the economy. Right. Lewis then goes on to attack the cap-and-trade tax boondoggle and Dean refuses to take his bait. Darn, I would’ve liked to have heard an exchange on that bunch of “hooey”, as Dean puts it.

Then, towards the end of the exchange, Dean lets the true agenda of Democrats slip in a simple yet powerful and insightful statement:

“I think we’ve had quite enough capitalism in the last eight years, I think we need some regulation now.”

Here’s the video:

After that exchange, we need a tax rap from Uncle Sam (from The Tax Foundation)…

And of course, no post about Howard Dean can be complete without inclusion of the ‘Dean Scream’ …
