Leave it to the New York Times to lob the biggest softball at President Obama last night during his 100-day press conference celebrating himself. The probing reporter, Jeff Zeleny, didn’t want to know why the president pushed a record $3.4 trillion budget with burdensome deficits, or how our grandchildren are going to pay for this and the additional fat entitlement programs he is pushing in the future. Couldn’t be bothered with a question asking why he mocked the over 500 thousand ordinary Americans that came out to protest this reckless spending. Or why he believes moving to a socialist model is necessary after 28 years of unprecedented growth and prosperity. Not curious whatsoever at the state of our economy and if more bailouts or government takeovers of companies are in order. Or ask why he is still pushing for a crippling carbon cap-and-trade program after the bogus theory of Global Warming Climate Change due to anthropogenic CO2 is rapidly imploding. How about asking why the idiotic buzz of New York City for a photo-op, scaring the city half to death, was necessary and how he didn’t know about it? Not a mention.

No, we need to know his feelings about being president. What ‘enchants‘ him.

I guess the whole American press corps has completely devolved into an army of slobbering Obamatons, all trying to one-up each other for the best Tiger Beat Magazine-type puff piece on the Messiah.
