Gotta love those 1970’s! I was just a kid during this backward decade and I don’t remember the 70’s Swine Flu scare, though my parents may have kept me sheltered. Are we destined to repeat this decade or something? Crazy energy crisis, lumbering recession, Global Cooling Warming scaremongering, soft presidency (see Carter), vinyl is back, American car companies going belly up (see AMC), the Steel Curtain is back, people wearing big fat headphones again, goofy variety shows dominate the television (see American Idol, Dancing with the Stars, etc.), kids wearing moppy hair, throwback muscle cars, and now a Swine Flu outbreak.
Heck, why spend advertising dollars on today’s Swine Flu scare when we already have these groovy ads …
