Obamorons decided that it would be a good idea to fly (unannounced) a passenger jet flanked by fighters low around Ground Zero and the Statue of Liberty for a photo-op. What were they thinking? Even Chuck Schumer ridiculed this stunt! If the Bush Administration had done something this stupid just to get some glamor shot for presidential propaganda he would have been drawn and quartered. The One? Merely a blip on the radar.

By the way, they knew it would cause panic and kept it a secret anyway!

Federal officials knew that sending two fighter jets and Air Force One to buzz ground zero and Lady Liberty might set off nightmarish fears of a 9/11 replay, but they still ordered the photo-op kept secret from the public.

In a memo obtained by CBS 2 HD the Federal Aviation Administration’s James Johnston said the agency was aware of “the possibility of public concern regarding DOD (Department of Defense) aircraft flying at low altitudes” in an around New York City. But they demanded total secrecy from the NYPD, the Secret Service, the FBI and even the mayor’s office and threatened federal sanctions if the secret got out…

The NYPD was so upset about the demand for secrecy that Police Commissioner Ray Kelly vowed never to follow such a directive again and he accused the feds of inciting fears of a 9/11 replay.

MON DIEU!

UPDATE

The White House Apologizes

Statement from Louis Caldera, Director White House Military Office, on Air Force One flight over New York

“Last week, I approved a mission over New York. I take responsibility for that decision. While federal authorities took the proper steps to notify state and local authorities in New York and New Jersey, it’s clear that the mission created confusion and disruption. I apologize and take responsibility for any distress that flight caused.”

Although I am almost positive that the President did not know about this stunt ahead of time, it is truly a sign of his leadership that the idiots that work for him would think that this was a good idea. Think about this, we heard for years and still today about the “Mission Accomplished” banner placed a ship that Bush landed on. That was “unbelievable”, “indefensible”, “idiotic”, and so much more negative press followed.

Will anyone be fired for this? Will anyone else but Jake Tapper challenged the White House?

how could he know? he doesnt know anything. we have a guy as president who has never held down a real job in his life. never managed, never led, never crafted a single piece of legislation. but this demonstrates the total incompetence of the gang of tax cheats, crooks, and socialist grifters he has assembled.
what needs to be asked and answered is, who was on the plane? carville and begalla? michelle? bo? Keith olberman? Rahm Emanuel(oversaw the looting of freddie mac)?

there are several people including past presidents that held down ‘real jobs’ and had managed, and led and had crafted legislation that didn’t know anything.

and the reverse may be true, there are several people who have never experienced these so-called requirements and have become super leaders.

contrary to common belief, leadership has nothing to do with experience.
