Here is yet one more example of the despicable corruption in Congress: The John Murtha Johnstown/Cambria County (Pennsylvania) Airport. An expensive, tax-payer-funded, deserted airport built thanks to John Murtha-directed dollars to his district. Of course this ‘airport to nowhere’ that bears the name of this crooked, narcissistic boob is emblematic of the corruption rampant in our Congress and why Tea Partiers are simply fed up. Just watch this report and you are sure to be disgusted. By the way, this useless airport also conveniently got “much needed” Porkulus dollars – go figure.

Here in St. Louis we have an airport that sits more idle than this Murtha airport. Our wonderful boondoggle is thanks to our local US Representative, Jerry Costello.

Scott Air Force Base in O’Fallon, IL uses the runways at times, but there may be a flight a day go out of the Mid America Airport for commercial flights. St. Louis has this great big International Airport – not sure why this was needed.

Maybe the fine people in Johnstown could just drive to Pittsburgh. It’s really not that far away. Just an idea.

But it has a nice terminal….

So this is where my money is going? I am shocked… SHOCKED… that Democrats like to spend money on things that they have named after themselves.
