OK, when I blogged four weeks ago that the Insult Express was going overseas, I was sort of, kind of, being a wee bit sarcastic. After all, insulting London several times (sending Winston’s bust back, crappy gifts, no press conference, yada yada) in the first six weeks of his Presidency must have registered somewhere on Pennsylvania Avenue. Corrective action would surely be priority number one when visiting Her Majesty in London.

Or maybe Treasury was assigned the task of picking out a gift for the Queen.

As I said back on March 6th, Obama has a staff of thousands of “Yes We Can” zombies who could have been delegated the responsibility of thinking up a thoughtful gift to the leader Queen of our number one strategic partner. The lack of thought exhibited makes Obama look more like the caricature of Bush the Left has been painting for years: self-centered, in a bubble, and unaware of how he is insulting our allies.

Indeed. My previous analysis still stands today, and shows that the people around the President, if not the man himself may not be up to the task of good diplomacy.

I am sitting here, laughing out loud at what I just read as a follow up to Allahpundit’s first post. So Obama included two of his own speeches on the iPod?

In addition to pictures of the Queen’s trip to the USA, Obama included his speech when he was an Illinois state senator at the 2004 Democratic National Convention, and his 2009 Inauguration Address. How thoughtful.

Believe it or not, Jake Tapper’s eating crap from the left for blogging this story even though, had Bush pulled something like this, (a) it would be in constant rotation on MSNBC and likely have been the top story on “Countdown,” and (b) the same nutroots morons who are hassling JT would have wet themselves with glee over the hay they could make from it. Exit question: How’d Team Barry forget to pre-load that ass-covering speech on race he gave last year — which, I believe, was the last time he dared to utter a syllable on the subject? Isn’t that supposed to be the greatest work of American literature since “Huckleberry Finn” or something? Way to cheap out on the Queen!

Maybe Obama thought if the Queen was giving a him a picture of herself that she would love to listen to him. Never know when she would need her fix of Hope and Change!
