Buffet and Welch to Obama: Stop Pushing Liberal Agenda During Crisis!

BY NCVIKING:
Remember the old commercial, when E.F. Hutton talks, people listen? Never has it been more appropriate to parody this brilliant ad campaign then now. When it comes to the economy, if Jack Welch or Warren Buffet talks, Obama should listen.
Warren Buffet has now joined a growing chorus of analysts, economists, businessmen and ordinary folks urging Obama to stop with the social engineering and payback in the middle of this crisis.
Buffett called on Obama, Speaker Nancy Pelosi and other Congressional Democrats to stop using the crisis to advance their liberal agendas and pet projects. While Buffett refused to tell a CNBC interviewer this morning which programs should be deferred, he said everything but fixing the financial crisis and the recession should be put on the back burner.
Enormously successful former CEO of G.E. Jack Welch was on MSNBC’s Morning Joe the other day skewering Obama for his handling of the economy. (Paraphrasing) he tells Obama to focus on the crisis at hand and not cram down his agenda all at once. Welch also compared Obama to a bright, articulate corporate leader who fails because of no clear plan, and introducing too many initiatives at once creating a lack of focus.
“This guy’s locked in another world! And he’s throwing all of these initiatives into this game in the middle of a crisis. Focus on the economy, focus on the crisis!”
The interviewer then offers that his initiatives may be interrelated to helping the economy. His response?
“They’re not interrelated at all!”
Here is the Jack Welch video:
Rahm Emanuel has said “You never want a serious crisis to go to waste.” This is the kind of thinking by an administration that puts politics above country during a crisis. The fact that Obama has followed this ‘Emanuel Doctrine’ is telling of his inexperience and lack of leadership.
Advice to Obama: ignore our economic E.F. Hutton’s at your and ultimately our own peril.

Obama is a political rock and a hard place. He wants to institute all these radical Liberal policies that America does not like. He has to do them during this honeymoon period when his approval is high and before the media throws him under the bus. But, the policies drive down his popularity and the economy. Also, to fix the economy, he must do exactly the opposite of what he is doing. He should be cutting taxes, which is against his Liberal agenda. So, he is politically…screwed!
