Bill Clinton is now putting his muscle behind ‘The Fairness Doctrine‘ as a means to shut up conservative critics of The One’s Porkulus bill.

“Well you either oughta have The Fairness Doctrine, or we oughta have more balanace on the other side.”

“The blatant drumbeat against the stimulus program doesn’t reflect the reality we are facing.”

Listen to his statement below:

Even more change we can believe in. Groan … I am getting tired of change.
Fairness Doctrine mandated counter point: Finally change we can all believe in, change and hope, hope and change, hopety, changety, hope-change! Woo hoo!!!

Of course, so anyone who disagrees with the “reality” determined by the Knowledgeable Ones needs to be balanced by cooler heads.

The big difference? Conservative talk radio works for profit, gathers its own advertisters and is self-sufficient. Liberal NPR and PBS are given millions of taxpayer dollars to do with what they wish, and they use to put on lefties.

Remember a few years ago (something that righties do every few years) when the GOP tried to revoke public funding for liberal PBS and NPR? The Left went ape and and paraded the muppets around the Capital claiming that the Republicans are trying to ill Sesame Street. Please. All they were saying is that this programing should stand on their own, and not be subsidized by the American taxpayer. Good grief.

The option? Do what Ed Schultz, Alan Combes, and other liberals have done: put together a product that you can sell to a station that will make them money and run with it. Radio station managers and owners are interested in the same things that other for-profit managers and owners are: profit.

Show them the money, and they will come.

This new liberal drumbeat for the fairness doctrine is exactly what you said: “change” I can not believe in.
