This is too good to get the actual context of the statement.
At best, it was a bad idea to string these words together. At worst, he is openly telegraphing the attitudes and future plans of the Democratic Congress.
Senator Charles E. Schumer (D-NY): “And let me say this, to all of the ‘chattering class’, that so much focuses on those little, tiny… yes… ‘porky’ Amendments: the American people really don’t care.”
Let’s hope that this comment will get, or already has received more media play than just The Great Illuminator. Oink!
