Why Are We Still Listening to Ben Bernanke?

BY: NCViking

Last week, the Fed Chairman gave his economic outlook for the United States. Ben Bernanke calmed fears of a double-dip recession, forecasted continued moderate economic expansion, blah, blah … and the markets responded. I am certainly not complaining that the Dow went up after the pep talk, but I am curious why the world bristled at news coming from such an absolutely inept economic oracle? Find out just how inept by watching the 'gasp-worthy' video inside ...

Mosque at Ground Zero and the First Amendment

BY: NCViking

Despite political posturing or efforts on the left to spin this story another way, let no one be blind to the obvious: Imam Feisal Abdul Rauf’s proposed mosque/cultural center to be built near ground zero is done so for symbolic and provocative reasons. Ground Zero is the site of horrific destruction and mass murder perpetrated by extremist Muslims. Americans almost unanimously consider the area sacred. But are these reasons enough to stop its construction?

NFL Predictions 2010

BY: NCViking

The predictions are in! No need to even play the 2010 NFL season because Norse-tradamus already knows what's going to happen. Well, maybe not, but it sure is fun to guess. I can’t wait to look back at the end of the season and see how wrong I actually was. Enjoy!

Obama Skips Boy Scout Jamboree: Shows His Lack of Character

By The Arch City Madman

There has been a tradition that the President of the United States makes a visit to the National Scout Jamboree. This is a tradition that goes back to President Roosevelt visiting the first event in 1937 at the Mall in Washington D.C. Regardless of party, the President knew the significance of the event.

According to several news sources, he just didn’t have time in his schedule due to fundraising events and a taping of “The View.” A spokesman for the White House denies that this was the reason. What a shame for the leader of the free world.
