Thin-Skinned White House Hostile to Media

By WC Windbag

It is a huge surprise to hear the media, of all organizations, complain about a Democratic Administration being “thin-skinned”, a “bully“, “vindictive”, and “secretive”. Politico, no right-wing attack machine, goes about detailing Obama’s hostile working relationship with the media in a four thousand word essay published today.

Most Americans Believe the Media has a Liberal Bias

BY: NCViking

It seems the public feels American media is moving closer to liberal propaganda than reporting the actual news. Liberal media bias gives a tremendous advantage to the Democratic Party and a majority of the public believes news is increasingly being ‘liberal-filtered’, or at the very least presented through ‘blue-colored’ glasses.

Why Does the Left Feel the Right is Always Rotten?

BY WC Windbag

I just finished reading an online Washington Post column by Howell Raines (better known as Jayson Blair’s former boss) entitled, Why don’t honest journalists take on Roger Ailes and Fox News?. His argument was much as one would expect from a lefty… Fox News is wicked bad, lying to the American public with lies, propaganda, and more lies.

What If Gore Had Won?

By The Arch City Madman

Ahhh, if only Al Gore was allowed to inhabit the Oval Office. Most everything would have been better, the world would be as one, and all of us would be singing Kumbaya.

It’s time to move on and give up all the fantasy. Gore was not elected President, Bush was. Now they have their boy Obama in 1600 Pennsylvania Blvd. – all is well.

Fear and Irony in Northern Europe

Ah, it’s a mad, mad, mad world we live in. The latest chapter involves President Obama receiving the Nobel Peace Prize while thousands of our troops are fighting in Iraq and Afghanistan. Obama himself acknowledged that his own accomplishments are “slight” in comparison to past winners.

Copenhagen Summit to “Save the World”

By: NCViking

Nothing better than getting the world’s elite blowhards together with a carbon footprint the size of an English city to debate saving the world from evil CO2 monsters. Despite that computer modeling has been wrong on temperatures, despite sea ice is not melting as predicted, despite ice core data showing global temperature trends well within natural historical norms, despite global temperatures according to satellite readings are have not risen to any consequence over the last 30 years, despite threats and fear mongering to those not towing the AGW line, despite the oceans cooling, despite the recent discovery of a massive fraud within the scientific community pushing the theory, despite an effort to suppress the fact polar bears are increasing in numbers … despite … despite … despite …

Enemies List Mentality Continues For Obama

By WC Windbag

Last month, the Obama White House began an open war on the number one cable news outlet, and was rightly and widely criticized by both the right and the left. After executives from Fox and staffers from the White House met, all seemed to be leading to a truce, and hopefully away from Nixon Part II. Heck, David Axelrod even appeared on an post-election segment on the Fox News Channel.

Alas, when a scorpion is on the back of a frog, it is his nature to sting. And so it continues.

Totalitarianism Now?

Apparently, the White House has decided that Fox News is an adversary. While it’s not time to panic just yet, when a government begins restricting the press, hampering free discussion and attacking criticism, I get uncomfortable. It starts to approach totalitarianism.
