Mosque at Ground Zero and the First Amendment

Despite political posturing or efforts on the left to spin this story another way, let no one be blind to the obvious: Imam Feisal Abdul Rauf’s proposed mosque/cultural center to be built near ground zero is done so for symbolic and provocative reasons. Ground Zero is the site of horrific destruction and mass murder perpetrated by extremist Muslims. Americans almost unanimously consider the area sacred. But are these reasons enough to stop its construction?

Happy National Prayer Day – Crowder vs. ACLU

I am pretty happy that we here at TGI decided to adopt Steven Crowder as our non-official official comedian… if by “adopt” I meant to say “shamelessly link and/or embed his videos in our blog space.

Crowder, who proves that conservatives can be funny as well, takes on the ACLU for its misinterpretation of the First Amendment.
